"... will delight young users," says BestAppsforKids, who "Highly Recommended" this app and gave it 4.5 stars! AppPicker says, Twist and Count is "one of the most innovative and fun kids’ education apps to come out of the App Store in a long time. With its fun twist and shake controls your kids will absolutely love this one. This is a must have!"

Twist and Count is a pinball-inspired math app for young children. It combines animated animals and colorful bumpers to create a happy, fun-filled learning experience. The soundtrack is a hoot! Its a great way to learn to add. There are no ads or in-app purchases. Just pure fun!

Features:

- The unique design ensures that children never arrive at a wrong answer. Kids are never frustrated or compelled to correct a mistake. This builds confidence and self-esteem, regardless of whether your childs a math whiz or a challenged math learner.
- The app is controlled by a flick of the wrist on an iPhone and a flick of the wrists on an iPad.  Children never use gestures that control other apps, such as pressing, swiping, or dragging.  Your email and contacts — really anything that can be sent, altered, or deleted — are safe.
- The soundtrack is deliberately uncluttered and slightly out of sync.  Children arent lulled into a daze or distracted by a beat.  Parents can talk over the app without competing with it, which allows you to interact with your child even as he or she is playing the game.
- If your child can hold a phone, he or she will be able to play the app.   Disabled children who have trouble executing complex gestures will especially appreciate the simplicity of our design.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to create apps for young children that make learning fun.  We believe as parents and educators that children are exposed to an excess of digital media.  And much of it is too frenetic and fast-paced.

In our view, most apps for kids have lost sight of the golden rule -- keep it simple. Dont overwhelm. Design to educate and delight children, not to impress adults.  The best toys are often the simplest toys, the ones that provide the most space for a child’s imagination to flourish.
